New Swarovksi releases and Lisa's handmade Soap for everyone + Weekend Promos!

These passed couple of months have been intense! I'm so tired when I go to sleep that I don't even remember the last time I had a dream... I miss dreaming! Can you believe it's already Halloween? Christmas is going to be here in no time!

For all you ladies who're planning to do your Christmas shopping with me:
PLEASEEEEEEE I beg you to do it in November. PLEAAAAASEEEEEE. ::beg with puppy eyes:: Dec. is one of my hardest months, filled with papers, finals and final projects. And there's always a TON of orders that I need to process-- I want everyone to get their gifts ON TIME! So try to plan ahead a little if you can... and as an incentive to order earlier.. I'm giving a special discount to those who choose to do their *early* holiday shopping with He Qi Crystal Designs. EMAIL ME for more info regarding this promotion! (heqicrystaldesigns@hotmail.com). Also give me an estimate of how much you're planning to spend!

On to the fun stuff!

In my last post (or two, I forgot), I talked about how I want to give you guys beauty samples with your purchases. I'm still going to do that, BUT, I've been dying to make my own soap, and I finally got around to doing it today. They're not perfect, but hey, it's homemade!
Today's soap are in heart shapes, with roses on them. They're light pink, with a mix of herb/citrus scent, and about 2 inches at the wides part of the heart. They also come with apricot seeds (very, VERY fine, all ground up so it doesn't damage your skin) for gentle exfoliation... enjoy! Either these, or the soap/beauty samples I get from other handmade companies will come with every order from now on =)

And boy, I admire people who do real soap making. It must take so long! I bought myself an intro kit just for fun. And I'm doing the lazy way... with the soap already made :X. All I'm doing really is mixing the scent oils in (to smell like what I want them to smell like), and adding the exfoliating seeds and color and molding them into shapes. Lame. I'll work more on this later. I'm gonna be taking a soap making class at the Craft Center at UCD next quarter-- ANYONE ELSE DOWN?

And... SWAROVSKI released NEW elements! I'm excited, once again, to introduce them to you guys :D
There are other colors available, but this particular color really caught my eye. It's called "Montana Sapphire".

For now, it's a simple pendant necklace. It's super unique because it has a frosted part in the middle. Absolutely beautiful!
Can you believe this 19mm Crystal costs more than a 30mm pegasus wing? I was surprised when I ordered it, but now I can see why =)

And just another pair of earrings:

At Witchapalooza, my housemate bought a belly dancing belt... it's beautiful, gold, and jingly. I made new bracelets, inspired by the "feel" of the belt.

Introducing my PLATINUM PRINCESS bracelets!
These are really well made, and I chose to NOT use sterling silver wire because I know that not everyone can spend $50 on a bracelet like this. Using anti-tarnish craft wire, I wrapped wrapped every single one of these pearls and crystals. It's a dainty piece, but it takes a lot of work! Making these kind of hurt my fingers, so I might just take custom order for these. Made with "platinum" Swarovski colored pearls.

The CLASP IS sterling silver, though!

Goodness, USD just offers everything! Makes me wish I went to a university! Those soaps are pretty! I have a bunch of fragrance oils I bought a while back in hopes of making soaps and candles and never did lol.

I'm totally open to soaps for favors! I was actually thinking about that! But LUSH is way too pricey and I have no idea where to find sugar cookie scented snowflake soaps (oh please oh please)!

I'm loving the look of the new bracelets, they kinda remind me of fantasy/spring.

Your soaps are beautiful! :) Have fun in the soap making class next quarter!

I'm definitely planning on buying from you in November. I'll try to let you know by mid-November at the latest. It does get pretty crazy after Thanksgiving. :(

Whoa, the Montana Sapphire is gorgeous!

Yeah, I have a camera (the one Martin had). I have no idea how I'm getting my invites done. I found one at Party City I like but I'm being super picky about it, I want everything to match lol. Which might be impossible in some cases.

Aww, okay but in two years when I have my second wedding I'm going to ask you again! Just a fair warning =).

Oh I know! I was browsing Etsy when I first started thinking about making soaps... its insane the things people come up with! I've ordered some that smelled EXACTLY like food and LOOKED like food, my mom thought the peanut soaps I gave her were REAL peanuts and tried to eat them lol!
