It feels like a while since I last blogged-- I've missed everyone! The coming two weeks will be insane! Classes are ending, final projects, finals. So I won't be around too much, sorry! I have lots of blogs to catch up on, as well-- that's saved for break.

I wanted to do a fun beauty entry today-- talk about a couple of things that I really, REALLY love, and I think you guys might enjoy, too.

BUT FIRST, I wanted to show you guys what I got in the mail from KAREN.

Isn't she simply amazing? (Like how there's some chocolate missing already? lol)
Currently, I'm wearing the purple nail polish right now-- I LOVE IT! What a beautiful color.

I have a nail chewing problem-- for years, I was never able to grow my nails out AT ALL. The second there's any "white" tip, I'd chew it off. I know it's a terrible habit, and I haven't been able to start getting over it till recently. BUT a year or so ago, I discovered that if I used glue-on nails (or any type of fake nails), I DO NOT chew my nails AT ALL. So I've been using TONS of the broadway KISS nails and the nails for petite hands-- I have TINY nails and I always have to get the smallest size :X. Here's what I've been stashing:

I've never seen these cute designs before! I normally just do a french, but these new releases are SOOOO CUTE. I'll post a pic after I use them.. probably for Thanksgiving this week =)

And... my obsession as of late:

I'm generally TERRIBLE at using liquid liner, but this "pen" is so, SO easy to use! It's actually easier for me to use than a pencil (And I'm a usually a HUGE fan of the Urban Decay 24/7 liners). I don't even tug on my skin when I use it unlike when I', using gel or pencil. Has anyone else used this? If so, what do you guys think?
* Sidenote: I used the Mascara version, and I hated it :(

Another addiction is Bare Minerals

I've been tempted to buy this for a while now. Up till recently, I've NEVER used anything on my face. A couple weeks ago, the roomie and I went to Sephora, and I finally caved in and bought it :X.. at full price, $60. It's love, LOVE love. I've never gotten so many compliments on my skin before! Makes me look airbrushed without looking gunky or fake. Also, it's super light, so I don't feel like I'm wearing any makeup.

I've made TONS of additions to the site-- not sure if you guys have been following.
I'm still open for taking orders for Christmas, but the last day is December 10th for US customers. Cutoff date for international customers is December 1st.

Short update: Handmade Business cards! New Necklace

Went to Michael's today to get some giant hole puncher thingies....
I might make my own business cards in the future.

All made with pearlescent cardstock-- my fav. It's usually what I print my "care sheets" on =)

Anyway, two new pieces of jewelry today.

Introducing the "Cluster love" necklace.
I almost named it something else... but lets not talk about that :P
I'm back to combining rhodium with Swarovski. I think it works will together. I love the tiny double hearts-- I used to put these in double-piece earrings, and it was a hit! I'll start bringing those back, too.

MORE Hello Kitty Charms, NEW HQCD Bookmarks! Black Friday Sale Info ;)

I kill bugs with my face. NEW Twilight jewelry/bunch of new rings and HOLIDAY earrings, FREE SHIPPING!

A lot of people bike in Davis. And for those of you who bike, you'll know EXACTLY what I'm talking about...
A couple days ago, a good friend of mine from UCI sent me some AMAZING Smashbox lipgloss in "Ravishing". It's now my absolute FAVORITE lip gloss. Not only does it smell YUMMY, but it's also not CRAZY blingy shiny, which I like. The color is also to die for. Anyway, enough about the lip gloss.

So I was wearing lip gloss, and biking. 2-3 minutes into my bike ride, something large gets stuck on my lips (lip gloss...)... A GIANT BUG. :LSJDFLKSJDLFKJSDLFKDJSF GROSS. I try to pick it off with one hand, will trying to steer with the other.

.... near the end of the bike ride, the same thing happens, but this time, it's a smaller bug, and I accidentally licked my lips, and ate it. -_-. Oh well, extra protein, right?

I've also had incidences where I've killed bugs with my EYES by blinking. It's kind of inevitable when you're biking-- maybe I should wear sunglasses or something-- but where does that leave my mouth? I don't really feel like inhaling bugs anymore, haha. I need to learn to keep my mouth closed, and apply lip gloss after biking :P

And a random life picture... haha!
A couple days ago, I got my NYX package in the mail.. YES, I gave in to buying 59 eyeshadow pigments! Guess what that means? Eyeshadow pigment samples will be included in all orders till I run out. Ladies who place larger orders will receive FULL SIZE eyeshadows!

Okay, so who's going to see Twilight?
I'm going to admit that the movies make me kinda cringe since I really adored the books, and the acting seems a bit stiff and awkward for me (don't kill me!), but I'm excited to see what the crowd will be like on opening day!

I found these WONDERFUL Swarovski hearts at my local bead store, and I only bought enough to make one pair of earrings:

These are my one-of-a-kind Edward earrings. The color is SPAZZZZZZZZ. It's topaz like Edward's eyes, but it's also got an amazing red warmth to it. I wish cameras would show more realistic colors... but alas, we must do with what we've got.

And just some really, really random rings I made. I don't know where the inspiration for these came from. It just came out this way when I was playing with my materials..

Eternal Sailor Moon Necklace and more!

For those of you who haven't read my blog in the summer-- well, whenever I make jewelry, I almost always put on some anime, or some show other random show (Huan Zhu Ge Ge, anyone?). Usually, it's Sailor Moon-- because there are 200 episodes and it takes me a while to finish. Just two days ago, I finished the season, again.I watch it in Japanese with English subs on Veoh. I've been looking for the COMPLETE DVD set with English subs... anyone know a good place to get an original? And if so, price?

I'm not a crazy fan, but I really do enjoy watching Sailor Moon. It brings me back to my elementary school days, lol :X

In honor of my favorite transformation, "Eternal Sailor Moon", I've made a necklace inspired by her. I've been searching for the right "wings" for a long time, and this is.. one of the better ones I've found. One downside is that the wings aren't sterling silver :(. I'm currently negotiating getting sterling silver wings, but those are PRICEY. Currently, this goes for $25-- and I think that's a very reasonable price tag. With sterling silver wings, it'd be at LEAST $35-40. What do you guys think? Sterling silver wings, yes no?

I've been working like nuts today. I was trying to perfect my bird's nest ring:

It looks amazing, if I may say so myself. I did make a couple changes to the BAND part of the ring, though. I wasn't liking the previous, just wire wrapped around the band look.
So I wrapped the band like this:

Yea, it takes about an extra half hour this way, but I think it makes it look much more professional and polished. I had to raise the price because it seriously takes more than an hour to make. And these are custom sized-- and size available at NO extra cost! I'm keeping this particular for myself since I want yours to be PERFECT.

Coach Haul, NEW wire-wrapped rings, Beaded Turtle, Hello Kitty Jewelry, Weekend Sales

Didn't have class today, so I met up with some classmates to work on a group project, and then my roomate and I went to the Coach outlet. They're offering an additional 20% off right now (with coupon), so I just had to take advantage of that.

Everything cost $150 ish. A pretty amazing deal, if you ask me.
Which puts my spending for this month at a stop :P

I've also been self-teaching myself how to make wire-wrapped rings. I first attempted this about a year ago, and failed ultra miserably. But I think I'm getting the hang of it now. These take, at the minimum, 4 feet of wire, so I don't think I'll be offering them in sterling silver UNLESS if you really want them... talk to me about it.

Here's the first. Every single bit is wire wrapped. YES, the BAND part is entirely wire wrapped all the way around, by me! It was hard to get it this neat, so I'm very proud of it. This particular piece was a practice piece, to make a base for whatever Crystals or whatnot I want to add on there. I'm not sure if I'll be using it yet.


And something in a completely different style...


Bird's nest rings! I think these are super cute. I offer many colors. But they're not for sale yet, since I want to master the craft first. But it's coming, soon! And these will be affordable, at about $10/each.

I also spotted some charms, so I thought I'd get some of those, too. Now, I'm going to honestly reveal that I'm not a giant fan of HK, but I know a lot of girls are, so these are for you!

I'm aware of a couple of ladies on blog who've recently made HK jewelry-- I'm not trying to jump on the bandwagon, I promise. I just happened to visit Sanrio today, and picked up 4 charms for fun. Felt like this disclaimer was necessary :X
