Yosemite, Rockstar Earrings, Charm and more earrings

For 4th of July weekend, I went to Yosemite for the first time with a group of friends. The scenery was breathtaking. It's a shame I got at least 45 (COUNTABLE!) mosquito bites (we forgot insect repellent), and every single one of them swelled like crazy. Unfortunately, the itchiness caused me to be cranky for the remainder of the trip :X

A shot of us, all excited:

And we randomly found a log that resembled a bazooka, lol-- it even had a handle

Got home Monday night, settled in. Today, I had to give a speech in my communications class at 8 AM. Started working on the speech at around 9...
... but Achilles decided he wanted pets instead-- so he laid on my work...

Eventually finished around 2, woke up a little after 5AM to put the finishing touches on the speech, and booked it to class. Everything worked out and went well, so I'm happy =)

And newwwwwwwwwwww jewelry I've been hoarding!

I'm CRAZY excited about this piece. It's been in my mind forever, but I finally produced it today:

"Rockstar" earrings. My current absolute favorite, hands down. The color combo is flawless (ahem... heehee), and believe it or not, these pair of babies took well over 45 minutes to wrap. They're LOADED with crystals and pearls. I hope this finds a good home, and an owner who loves it as much as I do ^^

And some Vampire Desire earrings, to match that Vampire Desire necklace!

Some pretty floral earrings:

A random colorful cutie:

And 3 new pairs of Floral Radiances =)

And lastly... since I was definitely feeling the purple/black today, I'll finish the post with a "Rockstar Romance" charm:

Giveaway Winner, New Jewelry & Eyelid Tape for Sale

So who has already seen Eclipse? ;) How was it? I'm not a hardcore Twilight fan, so I'm not sure if I want to see it in theatres or just wait till it comes out on DVD-- I did read the books, but the movies, unfortunately, did not suit my taste :(

Anyway, congrats to Chanthida!!!
You've won a  pair of ECLIPSE earrings!
Please email me at: heqicrystaldesigns@hotmail.com to redeem your earrings!

Continuing with the Vampire theme, I've made a pair of "Vampiress" earrings:

And a Fancy Vampire Desire, only ONE, though, sorry!

Some summer nautical earrings:

And finally, for those of you who knew me from Soompi, you'll know that I used to sell a BUNCH of various double-eyelid making products such as glues and tapes. I'm always on the lookout for newer and better alternatives to creating a natural double eyelid. Currently, I rarely use the tapes anymore because my eyelid is pretty much permanent.

For a while, my HG double eyelid product was the D-Up Eyelid Tape (double sided tape) from Japan. My only complaint about that tape was that it's too thin, and did not create the larger crease I was looking for.

... then... I came across the VERY new Eye Charm Double Sided Magic Eyelid Tape by Eye Charm of Korea. You guys may be familiar with the name-- they're probably like the #1 double eyelid tape company in the world or something. The tape is excellent quality, and great value.
You can find more details on the tape on my website HERE.

To give you guys an idea of how it works...

The best part is that it's VERY easy to use, and pretty much invisible.

I contacted the manufacturer directly, and obtained permission to sell these tapes on my website.

Conventional eyelid tapes VS. new ones:

Also selling some fashion tape (double sided tape)-- helps to keep your dress/whatever lowcut shirt you have, in place!

Okay, I'm off to Yosemite for the weekend! Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July =) I'll bring back some photos =)

Tons of new earrings =)

I've been trying to slow down and enjoy my spring break, so I haven't really had the chance to make many new things :X I HAVE been ordering a bunch of new, cute supplies though =). In honor of these new supplies and not having been very productive all week, I went on a jewelry binge today =)

Most of the metal parts are top quality materials, imported from Korea. Always solid sterling silver or gold plated over brass, and completely nickel free.

Speaking of nickel.....
I found out that I had a nickel allergy the bad way. Nickel in jewelry is generally a bad sign-- it's just not a precious metal. My ex gave me a promise ring (an expensive one, I must add) many years ago and the part where the band touched my finger turned black, rashed, and virtually started rotting away. Alas, looked up where the ring was purchased, and it said that jewelry "may contain trace amount of nickel". :\. Lesson learned: do your research when you buy jewelry.

New things on my website. You can get yourselves some HERE. =)

I've been getting a lot of attention from wearing these cute dress earrings:

And goodness, these beautiful butterflies are seriously to die for.

How cute are the mirrors? :X

And restocked on some old favorites =)

Recent Custom Orders:

Enjoy your Sunday, all! Talk to you soon :D

Thinking about starting a rewards program soon... $1 = 1 point, and you can redeem your points for stuff later on? Thoughts? The only thing that would be a little hard to do would be keeping track, but I'm sure I can manage =)

Royal Crown Series, new Beauty Additions, HQCD Advertising Kit

Last summer, I found a jeweler in Shanghai who makes these high quality royal crown charms, and have been asking my relatives to get some for me whenever I can. These crowns are plated with rhodium, and have a cubic zirconium crystal on the inside. I've seen similar charms around, but none as high quality. Once you actually see and touch the piece, you'll realize how well-made it is =)

A bracelet;
"Hime in Purple"

All the things a princess (*ahem, such as yourselves) would desire; the royal crown, love, pearls, and crystals.

I was feeling the crown motif today, so here are some threaders (only one pair left) with a different motif I bought at the same store =)

I'm also selling a Princess/Romantic style black rose mirror in my shop right now:

Brand new, imported from Japan.
Get it HERE.

And an eyeshadow palette is also for sale! It's by Cameleon Cosmetics, and I've never heard of them, but the colors are beautiful, and suitable for many occasions.

Imported from Hong Kong
More info HERE.

I'm also trying something new as far as advertising goes... I put together these HQCD Advertising Kits and was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping HQCD out with advertising =)

Kit Includes:
- 10 x oversized post cards
- 10 x business cards

I'm thinking of sending these off to whoever is interested in helping HQCD advertise. You can post these up on your local starbuck's or tapioca express's bulletin boards, salons, malls, school, universities, wherever. The possibilities are endless!
If you're interested in obtaining an advertising kit, please EMAIL ME (heqicrystaldesigns@hotmail.com) your full name and shipping address. Please title the email "HQCD Advertising Kit".
* You'll get a coupon to use at HQCD for helping me out =)
And, ANYONE can help, regardless of age or location!

Till next time,
Lisa
