October = Breast Cancer Awareness Month

According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation: Each year it is estimated that nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die. Approximately 1,700 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer and 450 will die each year. The evaluation of men with breast masses is similar to that in women, including mammography.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. At the office, we have been holding fundraisers for the last two weeks, and will continue holding them for the next few weeks, until we reach a goal of $2000 worth of donations. Without funding, it's extremely difficult to continue research that will help save lives.

For the entire month of October, I will be donating 100% of net proceeds on ANY PRODUCT that I sell on my website, so long as it has PINK in it. ANY amount of pink in it.... so this month, shop with a purpose :)

... I still haven't had a chance to really sit down and blog about what's been going on lately... that'll have to wait till I have more down time.

Breast Cancer Awareness and the beginning of Holiday Jewelry
